OwnersLot is an OilMate LLC company. This policy is a general marketplace agreement for OwnersLot.

1. Marketplace Role

OwnersLot provides a place for private owners to publish vehicle listings and communicate with potential buyers. OwnersLot is not a dealer, broker, seller, buyer, inspector, lender, escrow service, or guarantor. Users are responsible for verifying vehicle condition, ownership, title status, pricing, identity, and transaction terms before exchanging money or property.

2. Public Listing Information

When you submit a vehicle listing, you authorize OwnersLot to display, distribute, and store the information you upload for marketplace purposes. Vehicle photos, make, model, year, price, mileage, location, description, title status, seller name, seller phone number, seller email address, and other listing details may be visible to other users or visitors. Do not upload information you do not want shared publicly.

3. Account Information

Your account email, password, and verification status are used to operate and secure your account. OwnersLot may retain account and listing records as reasonably needed to operate the marketplace, prevent abuse, respond to legal requests, and resolve disputes. Do not upload Social Security numbers, payment-card details, banking information, government identification images, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree that your information is accurate, lawful, and submitted by you or with permission. You must be the vehicle owner or an authorized household member. Dealer, broker, curbstone, fraudulent, misleading, infringing, or unlawful listings are prohibited. You are responsible for removing or marking a listing sold when it is no longer available.

5. Data Security and Breach Risk

OwnersLot intends to use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the service. However, no website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you understand and accept the risk that unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse of information may occur despite reasonable precautions. OwnersLot will respond to security incidents and provide notices when required by applicable law.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OwnersLot and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits; lost data; identity theft; fraud; unauthorized disclosure; vehicle condition; title issues; user conduct; or losses arising from communications or transactions between users. Nothing in this policy excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

7. Moderation and Availability

OwnersLot may review, reject, edit, unlist, suspend, or remove listings or accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce marketplace rules, protect users, comply with law, or maintain the service. The website may be changed, interrupted, or discontinued without guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

8. Agreement

By creating an account, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Legal Policy, understand which listing information is public, and consent to the handling of your information as described above.
